Learning from the Pacific coast of Japan Culture

* COP10 support partnerships project*

COP10 will be held this year in Nagoya, thecoastal marine area are listed on agenda.
Now, as a mechanism to protect marine biodiversity "Marine Protect Area"are required to be specified. This time, the coastal beaches Atsumi Peninsula in Aichi table is already"Marine Protect Area"Do you know of an area say. Under the law continues to beach erosion table was developed regulations were beaches and seabed. Atsumi Peninsula on the Pacific Coast beaches during the high economic growth to 3km offshore, it was banned gravel excavation. Time restrictions and reasons disaster, although the beach after a few decades landed turtle is maintained fishing whitebait rich in sea seine land, surfing, scenery beautiful sandy beaches and activities such as fishing It was left as a future beach is protected. Marine Reserve in the way Japan is still under discussion, if the Atsumi Peninsula beach thorough verification of this"Marine Protect Area"ought to get tips. Thus, a region blessed with warm conditions, and from biodiversity to think, you can find new possibilities for the conservation of the coastal ocean. Interest you would love the ocean, and I hope you join the you.
